Hello! I'm an amateur wildlife photographer based in the Austin, Texas region.

My love of fishing and hiking eventually led to picking up a camera. I started where many bird photographers do: my own backyard. When COVID hit, I spent a lot of time capturing songbirds and warblers from the back porch. From there, I expanded into the field - chasing various species across Central Texas and the Gulf Coast.

Birds are at the heart of my photography. There are dedicated galleries for songbirds, warblers, shorebirds, water birds, hummingbirds, and raptors. But I also love to capture other native life: the alligators of the Texas coast, the butterflies of the Hill Country, and suburban residents like cotton-tailed rabbits or fox squirrels.

One subject I love to capture is the intersection of human development and wildlife. Wildlife adapt to and sometimes thrive in the spaces we've built: suburban neighborhoods, coastal working waterfronts, marinas, or industrial shorelines. They aren't fully wild, but they sustain wildlife.

I currently shoot with a Panasonic Lumix G7 paired with a Lumix G Vario 100-300mm lens.
